New announcements!

Thank you for taking the time to stop and read this very informative note :)

#1 We will be leaving for vacation November 23rd, and will be gone through Christmas. We are super excited because this is our first time ever taking a trip longer than 2 weeks.

Because of this, all holiday sessions must take place by November 13th. This is to guarantee I can have the photos edited, and returned to you before we leave. If you do not care about having the photos back before Christmas, then sessions can be done until the 20th. Please do not wait to book your session. The holidays are my busiest time of the year, and last year, I had to turn down sessions I was not able to fit in. Holiday Specials will be effective as of September 1st. Again, PLEASE book your session ASAP to guarantee I can fit you in before we leave.

#2 We will be in the Sacramento area for most of that month we are gone. I have decided I will take on 2-4 sessions while we are there. This is the perfect time for all of you back home who have wanted sessions, but did not want to pay travel fees! If you are interested at all, please contact me ASAP. I will be doing outdoor sessions, as well as indoor natural light sessions (I am bringing my portable studio set up)

#3 Due to high demand, I have decided to change my proof flip books to include every single photo from your session. This will however cause a price increase because instead of 20 photos, it will have anywhere from 40-70 photos in them. Every single photo that is on your proof site will now be in the flipbooks. This is the best way to be able to have every single one of your photos. The 4x6 size will now be $65, and the 5x7 will be $75. Watch for specials on purchasing multiple books (great gifts for parents and grandparents!)

#4) Also, due to high demand, I will soon be adding the option to purchase all of your digital images. Right now, you can purchase individual images for $25 with a $200 print purchase. The images will come on a cd/dvd along with a written letter giving permission to print as you wish. It will not be a cheap purchase for you, but very reasonable compared to the prices I have seen.

#5) Cake Smash- I have been getting a lot of up coming requests for 1st birthday cake smash's! So many of you are probably now wondering what is a cake smash? A cake smash is a 1st birthday photo session, that would take place in my studio (or even outside)...at the end of the session we strip down your baby to their diaper, and let them go at a cake! It is so much fun, and very messy!

***A couple of things to know about a cake smash session:
* As of today there will be an additional $20 charge to the session fee for any cake smash session. This is due to the extra clean up on my part. If you have already booked and payed your deposit for a cake smash session, this fee will not apply to you.
*You must provide your own cake.
*You're kid is going to get super messy...let them!
*This will add at least 10-20 more photos to your session

#6 Newborn sessions!!! This is my most popular, and favorite type of session. Newborn sessions need to be done within the first 14 days of birth. If you are pregnant, please email me with your EDD, so I can pencil you in on my calender. I always try to leave room for newborns, but this just helps guarantee there will be time. Keep in mind, newborn sessions take approx 2-3 hours, sometimes longer, depending on your baby.

Alrighty, I think that is all for now. If you actually read all that....you are either a really good friend of mine, or very interested in booking a session :) Please email or call with any questions about session dates.

Digital Print Announcement

By popular demand, I am considering possibly making it an option to purchase your digital negatives from your sessions. There will probably be a minimum print purchase required in order to be able to purchase the digital images. They will come on DVD and contain every image that is on your proof site. The digital images will come with a image release so you can print them as you wish. Please email with any questions or feedback on this.

Update: Massive Blog....

Okay, so because I am super behind on blogging, I am going to go ahead and do one super long blog. Here is a collection of a few of the sessions that were done since my last blog entry. I really need to work on keeping up with this thing! But for those of you that know I probably wont, be sure to check out my facebook page (there is a link to the left you can click on). I tend to update that more often because I always post a few photos as a preview for clients anxiously awaiting their proofing site! So, yeah, check that out too!
