Just for fun!

We did a quick little mini session for my good friend last night. She is 38.5 (yes you read that right 38.5) weeks pregnant with TWINS who are going to be born TODAY....on MY birthday!  Happy Birthday Fishes!!!

Glowing Belly

Is this mama not one of the most beautiful glowing mamas ever? She has the most perfect little bump! I can't wait to meet this little princess in a few weeks!

We ended up totally lucking out for this session. Chelsea is one of my best friends and she said she REALLY wanted a few snowy photos now that the little bit was old enough to be outside and actually play in the snow. Well, we got that awesome mini blizzard just a few days before this session...after having practically NO SNOW at all before. And then, of course it started melting about a day afterwards. It was COLD...but, we made it work with lots of family snuggles to stay warm :)

Busy boy!

I have been photographing big brother since he was in his mom's tummy still...and everytime he comes in, he is wanting less to do with taking photos, and more to do with exploring and everything else.  This time didn't prove any different.  Poor mama just wanted your classic, big brother kissing the new baby belly shot...but Mr. A just wasn't having it.

You can probably guess my favorite thing about maternity photos??? That's right...the fact that it means a brand new teeny little one will be coming to my studio very soon for me to cuddle! yay!

How do people do it?!!?!?

I really give mad props to those of you like this couple who decide to wait to find out the gender of your baby. I am sure its the ultimate surprise on the day the baby comes which is awesome...I just didn't have the patience with either of my girls to wait and not find out during my ultrasounds. I am guessing girl here though!
